The final October issue of Travel News Update (TNU) will bring to an end Malcolm Ginsberg’s career as a journalist.
It all started in 1965 as a freelancer working for Autosport, then at its zenith, and supplying Simon Taylor with reports from motor club events.
Fast forward 60 years (for a full biography see www.ginsberg.co.uk) when he introduced TNU as a monthly newsletter.
Reaching the age of 83 he has decided to begin to fade away. He will still write, when asked, and will be around to offer his experience and knowledge of the air travel industry. Also cruising – his first seaborne trip was in 1951. The last issue of TNU, October, coincides with his birthday.
Malcolm has always said the requirements for a good life is “what you know, who you know, and luck”. It has worked for him.
