Club World Boeing 787-8 travellers on British Airways to some 15 long-haul destinations are likely to have the benefit of the airline’s new much improved Suite during the coming months.
Head for Points has produced a detailed review www.headforpoints.com/2023/01/11/british-airways-boeing-787-8-dreamliners-club-suite, summarized here by TNU, which also links to a July 2022 full review by HfP of the product.

The 787-8 is the smallest of the Dreamliner series. It will be used on a new BA route to Cincinnati which is introduced on 5 June this year.
With Club Suite, BA offers a 1+2+1 layout of its Business Class cabin, ensuring that every passenger has direct aisle access without having to climb over someone else’s legs as previously! In bed mode, Club Suite is 6ft 6in or 2m long and has a door for privacy. Reports are favourable by users on routes such as Heathrow to Cape Town, which use the newly arrived Airbus A350s with a similar kit.
The easiest way to check whether your BA flight features Club Suite is to check the seat map in ‘Manage My Booking’. Because the Club Suite is in a 1+2+1 configuration it is visibly different from the old layout.
BA has 12 Boeing 787-8s in its fleet. At current rates, it would take just under a year for those aircraft to be refurbished. We can expect a significant ramp-up of Club Suite seat deliveries this year as supply chain issues start to resolve themselves.
