If you want to take your children (or grandchildren) to Disneyland Paris direct by train from London St Pancras you need to do so by Sunday 4 June. The last Eurostar direct service from the site entrance at Marne-la-Vallée station leaves at 18:12 (local) that day. For the future you will need to change at Lille. There are direct services from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport every half an hour taking just ten minutes and Paris visitors can use the Metro line 4 from Gare de l'Est.
Disneyland Paris is celebrating 30 years, long enough for children who went in its early days to now take their youngsters. It is a minimum two-night, three-day, exercise to get any value from the main park and adjoining Walt Disney Studio, plus the nature reserves.
There are eight Disney hotels on the site, in all price ranges plus self-catering, and close by a variety of internationally known hotel brands.
Key to the whole visit are the four integrated theme features: Main Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland & Discoveryland, all of which have evolved over the years.
From 24 April,“Disney Dreams!” will dazzle guests each night by taking them on a magical and emotional journey following the “Disney D-Light” drone show – a powerful combination of experiences that will result in an unforgettable night-time sequence. Guided by Peter Pan’s shadow, guests will discover – or rediscover – some of the greatest Disney stories projected on Sleeping Beauty Castle during an extraordinary journey featuring iconic songs from Disney and Pixar fan favourites Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Lion King.
