Walking news

Top guide Rachel Kolsky, with the winter break behind her, is from mid-February embarking on a whole series of walking tours in and around London.

BTN has in the past been a keen supporter of what is not only an educational experience but a good healthy couple of hours, generally out in the open.   See BTN 8 August 2022 ON TOUR: Waterloo – The Station.

The groups are limited to 20, no high-tech listening aids, and they are for the most part on the flat.  As the lady pointed out on one trip the vaudeville stars of yesteryear did not have microphones, their voices carrying.  The theatres have not changed, many of London’s most famous over 100 years old, typically the Palladium dating from 1910.

Tours are £20 per person unless otherwise specified.

If any tour is SOLD OUT, please contact Rachel to join the Waiting List. People do cancel and places do become available. ALSO, if the Waiting List becomes long enough, an ADDITIONAL date is scheduled and those on the Waiting List always get priority to book the new date.
