Qatar Airways and Formula 1

On the opening day of official testing 2023 in Bahrain, F1 and Qatar Airways announced in Doha a multi-year partnership that will see the recently voted Airline of the Year become F1’s Global Airline Partner. Move over Emirates!

The deal includes trackside and digital branding inventory that will be showcased to F1’s global audience over 23 races in 21 countries.  The deal runs until 2027.

Qatar Airways will be the title sponsorship of three Formula 1 Grand Prix races this season:  Italy – Emilia-Romagna (Imola) 19-21 May, Hungary – (Mogyoród near ‎Budapest‎) 21-23 July, and Qatar 6-8 October.

Formula 1 is only part of a package which includes the Qatar Moto GP on 17-19 November at the Lusail International Circuit. Other motorsport events in Qatar take in resurrected Geneva International Motor Show for October 2023 and the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) World Endurance Championship in 2024.
