The very active British Business & General Aviation Association (BBGA) has published a list of future events for members and guests.
On Wednesday 30 November the Close Brothers Christmas Drinks Reception takes place in London at The Dilly, Piccadilly, 19:00 to 21:30.
Other sponsors include Collins Aerospace, The Air Law Firm, Air bp and Arthur J. Gallagher. BBGA member tickets are £85 (ex VAT) and for non-member £105 (ex VAT).
The 2023 Annual Conference and AGM will be held on Thursday 2 March at the Leonardo St Pauls Hotel, London, breaking the recent tradition using Luton Hoo, near Luton Airport.
Headed as ‘Flying into a New Era of Aviation’ the Conference will look to examine the perception of business aviation and how to address its image. The conference will debate the need for a closer relationship with the different sectors of aviation. As the aviation industry grows so does the demand for a trained workforce. The conference will scrutinise future training requirements for pilots and crew, current demands for engineers and training for young/new entrants. BBGA will discuss its section of air travel as it evolves into a sustainable future with the use of new technologies in fixed-wing, rotary, unmanned and scheduled aviation.
The Isle of Man Aviation Conference 2022 was a huge success. It will be replicated next year, with the venue once again Villa Marina, Isle of Man, on Wednesday 21 June 2023.
