It's back to normal - almost - at Heathrow but watch out for changes.Iberia flights have returned today (1 June) to Terminal 5.
The airline has been in Terminal 3 for the last ten months, moving originally as part of BA’s attempts to get its staffing issues at Terminal 5 under control.
Check-in for Iberia flights now take place in Zone B of the Terminal 5 departures hall.
To celebrate London Underground’s 160th birthday Transport for London (TfL) is operating heritage Piccadilly Line services on the line to T5 on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June.
The special services will use 1938 rolling stock (some of which was still running until 1988) which has been restored to its art deco prime with red and green moquettes and vintage lighting.
Most journeys will operate as a round trip which starts and ends at Acton Town station (just by the TfL Museum), with an intermediate stop at Heathrow Terminal 4. Some return legs will terminate at Northfields. The entire trip will take one hour.
These trains will not form part of the normal Piccadilly line service to Heathrow but need to be booked separately on the London Transport Museum’s website. Tickets cost £28.50 for adults with reduced prices for concessions and children.
TfL has two museums, at Covent Garden, and by Acton Town station, which is also a storage and engineering base with limited public opening hours.
