Article from TNU NOVEMBER 2022

Welcome to Travel News Update - Issue One Tuesday 1st November 2022

Welcome to Travel News Update (TNU), a spinoff from the immensely popular and award-winning Business Travel News (BTN), and now in the safe hands of Head for Points. During this development stage use malcolm@ginsberg.co.uk for editorial and commercial contact.

TNU is unique.  We don’t bring you today’s travel sector news! We will tell you what might make the news in the travel sector in the future. We help you plan for tomorrow’s news. Our target is travel suppliers, travel organisers and regular travellers, the City, media and legislators.  more

Regular BTN readers will notice the new layout with easy-to-access news stories without the distractions of images on the front page.  Everything, including the old BTN Search/Archive, is just a click away. Our experienced team is headed by Editor Sharon Ross (please add to your mailing sharon@prashker.co.uk) alongside some BTN contributors.  The Cruising, Motoring, On Tour and also And Finally sections are retained (and linked to past issues).

This first issue is something of a litmus test to gauge reaction.  We would very much welcome readers' observations on TNU stories (See COMMENT below each story) or to malcolm.ginsberg@travelnewsupdate.co.uk.

We believe there is a need for a publication that has the vision to look ahead and we look forward to hearing from you.  Advertisers are welcome.

MALCOLM GINSBERG
Editor-in-Chief
