The 29th Business Travel Show takes place 28-29 June at ExCeL London.
The venue was once thought to be too far from central London for an exhibition of this nature (although close by London City Airport). The introduction of the Elizabeth Line, with direct trains to Heathrow, has been a real bonus for ExCeL London.
Now slightly renamed Business Travel Show Europe, it is the largest corporate travel event in Europe, two jam-packed days of lectures, meetings and networking designed specifically for travel buyers, procurement and HR managers, EAs and PAs.
Business Travel Show Europe’s inaugural General Session will feature a keynote address by British journalist, TV presenter and former BBC News correspondent Jon Sopel who will talk about the geopolitical and economic issues facing the business travel industry. An interview will follow with recently appointed Drew Crawley, President, American Express Global Business Travel, by Karen Hutchings, Global Head of Travel, Meetings and Events at EY and recent Business Travel News Hall of Fame inductee.
The Accommodation Village includes leading global and local lodging providers whilst The Airline Pavilion hosts global airlines. The unique hosted buyer programme brings hundreds of top-level decision-makers to the show, some with budgets in the tens of millions.
Features include the Start Up Zone showcasing the most innovative products introduced to the business travel market in the last two years and the Business Travel Tech Zone, self-explanatory.
