Article from TNU AUGUST 2023

Airlines 2023

Sir Tim Clark has made more final appearances than Frank Sinatra.

This is possibly not true, but he did stay on to see Emirates through the pandemic. Now 73 he has been President of the airline since 2003.

Perhaps his retirement date will be known when Airlines 2023 takes place on 20 November in Westminster, London.

In any event this is one for the diary with other speakers including the usually low profile Sean Doyle, CEO and Chairman of British Airways; David Morgan, Chief Operating Officer, easyJet; and Marie Owens Thomsen, Senior Vice President Sustainability and Chief Economist, International Air Transport Association (IATA).

With a UK General Election due within 14 months at the latest it will be interesting to see who the Government puts up as a speaker, plus the opposition parties. Over the coming months TNU will be updating the event and its programme.
