The A380 is expected to return on the Heathrow – Singapore route for the summer season 2024 but its introduction is dependent on the refurbishment programme for its still 12-strong fleet. For the winter season Heathrow is adding Belgrade, Cologne and Riga. There will be one flight per week (Sunday) to Turin from Terminal 5. The service will only operate until the end of March. The existing BA EuroFlyer service from Gatwick continues with daily flights.
From London City Airport there is also expansion, albeit on a smaller scale – Milan Linate, starting on Sunday 5 November has been added. ITA flies three times daily, with a single service on Saturday and Sunday. San Sebastian from the start of the winter season on 29 October will operate every Thursday and Sunday.
British Airways has a comprehensive website detailing all its London airports with route and check-in details, that is City, Gatwick, Terminal 3 Heathrow and Terminal 5.
BA is also changing First Class arrangements on some routes including Atlanta, Beijing, Cape Town, Shanghai and Tokyo Haneda but dropping, some front-end offerings on Chicago, New York Newark, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington. Check before you book.
