The name Level may not be familiar to you unless you are an expat with Barcelona as your nearest long-haul airport.
Level was established in 2017 as a subsidiary of IAG and as such a sister company of British Airways, but it is not part of oneworld.
The carrier uses the IB (Iberia) two-letter code and does not come to the UK. It is essentially a low-cost branded marketing operation.
Level operates four Airbus A330-200s with Iberia crew.
From Barcelona, Level flies to Boston, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Miami (new for March), New York (JFK), San Francisco and Santiago de Chile.
Premium Economy features 21 semi-reclining seats in a 2+3+2 layout, each with 37 inches of pitch. They are equipped with a 12-inch TV screen featuring a complimentary selection of films, TV shows, and music and noise cancelling headphones. Passengers are offered a three-course meal. The airline is generous with its baggage allowance of one cabin bag and two 23kg checked/hold bags.
The Economy cabin features 293 seats in a 2+4+2 layout, which are equipped with a 9-inch TV screen and a minimum of 30-inch pitch. Fares are offered for those who want the basic travel facility, and for those who want in-flight nourishment on flights that can be as long as 12 hours. Reports are mixed regarding catering.
In-flight wi-fi can be purchased by all passengers.
