In something of an about-turn Norse has dramatically reduced its winter Caribbean operations from Gatwick this winter.
Services have been reduced to a single Barbados flight and the same to Montego Bay, both running until the end of March. Kingston (Jamaica) has been dropped and likewise Boston, Los Angles, New York JFK, Orlando, San Francisco, Washington Dulles, all continue with the published schedules.
Norse operates Boeing 787 Dreamliners with a two-class layout. ‘Economy Light’ is very basic, with what is called a “personal Item” really hand luggage. But you can buy services on board. ‘Classic’ includes a meal and a single hold baggage (23kg), whilst ‘Economy Flextra’ adds seat selection and priority boarding.
Norse Premium Class is rated as one of the best ‘Economy Plus’ with a dedicated cabin crew, complimentary inflight meals and drinks, and a wider premium seat, giving you the most generous “Premium” legroom across the Atlantic and a great recline for additional comfort. USB plug point and 12-inch screens.
