+ 2024 Propliner Annual has arrived

The lost world of propeller driven long range passenger aircraftIt is too late for a May review but will be in the June issue of TNU with an outstanding story of one Peter J. Bish who in the Spring of 1992 flew six types in just three days, 13 sectors on five airlines, all prop-powered aircraft.  And no electronic booking, every reservation either via OAG or on a standby basis.

It is 40 years since Propliner founder and Flight International photographer Stephen Piercey died in a mid-air collision during a sortie at the Hannover Air Show. There is a moving tribute and a selection of Piercey's fine images.

I have every Propliner from Issue 1 and get great pleasure from reading them over and over. The propliner days were surely magical!

Mine has arrived. If you are into old aircraft it is a big and long detailed read. Well done the contributors.
