Spanish Costa hotel for Accor

Accor has announced plans to open a Fairmont property on Spain’s southern Mediterranean coast.  Fairmont La Hacienda will be situated within the La Hacienda golf complex between Sotogrande and San Roque, and is expected to partially open within the next 12 months, with completion by Easter 2024.

The 323-room hotel will feature five restaurants and bars including one on the beach, as well as a number of swimming pools, a 2,000sq m spa and a 1,108sq m ballroom.

Across Europe the brand has a portfolio of six hotels, including four in the UK and Ireland – Scotland’s Fairmont St Andrews, London’s The Savoy, Ireland’s Carton House, and the recently opened Fairmont Windsor Park.
