BA chose the evening before the Budget to reveal its plans at an event described by one attendee “as too much at one time and no firm dates, but clearly progress”.

The revamp is unlikely to be renamed “Concorde Class” as suggested by this publication. BA does have a Concorde (First Class) lounge, which is likely to be upgraded. Flying “Concorde Class” does have a certain ring about it and something to tell your colleagues, rather like having a shower on Emirates at 30,000ft.
