Amsterdam return for Aviation Festival

Something of a nomad these days the Aviation Festival returns to Amsterdam 8−10 October at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre.

This was the sign for 2022.  The same goes for 2024. The event claims to bring together 5,000 plus global commercial aviation executives and to be inspired by 600 speakers over three days.

One regular not attending will be Akbar Al Baker, former CEO of Qatar Airways, and we have not heard yet if his replacement Badr Mohammed Al Meer will be at what is an important destination for his airline. Tim Clark, President of Emirates, is not on the list of attendees as yet.  Maybe he will retire before October?

We list here some of the senior confirmed presenters (in alphabetic order).

Ayman Aboabah CEO, Riyadh Airports Company
Sophie Dekkers CCO, easyJet
Tony Douglas CEO, Riyadh Air
Paul Griffiths CEO, Dubai Airports Company
Dirk John Chief Information and Digital Officer, British Airways
David Neeleman Founder and CEO, Breeze Airways (and jetBlue)
Marjan Rintel CEO, KLM
Patrick Roux CEO and MD, SkyTeam
