Mandarin Oriental to open in London Mayfair

The fact that it is very close by the Elizabeth line station with trains to Heathrow may not be of use to many clients but Mandarin Oriental’s new 50-room Mayfair property is now open (from 3 June).

The official address is 22 Hanover Square, London W1S 1JP.

The hotel features the first UK restaurant by Korean-born chef Akira Back, as well as Back’s signature ABar Lounge and ABar rooftop bar concepts.

Below ground there is a spa with 25-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, vitality pools, experience showers and steam rooms.

The property will also feature 77 Residences, with access to the hotel facilities and a residents’ lounge.Mandarin Oriental Mayfair will join the existing Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, which unveiled extensive refurbishment works in 2019.
